Lindsay Lohan’s Home Burglarized
Think the rich and famous don’t need home insurance? Just ask Lindsay Lohan.
Police were called to Lindsay Lohan’s Hollywood Hills residence on Sunday to investigate a burglary. The actress was not home at the time of the break-in, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Jewelry, watches, shoes and designer bags were stolen, and a safe was ripped off the wall.
When Lohan discovered that her home had been burglarized, she called her father, Michael Lohan, who contacted police. He believes the burglary was an “inside job” because employees working in the home failed to activate the security alarm before leaving.
The LAPD has obtained surveillance footage that shows three masked men breaking into the home. The burglary occurred around 6:30 a.m.
This is the second break-in attempt in the past few months. In May, would-be burglars tried to gain access to the home but were frightened off by a security alarm. Lindsay Lohan said she had already planned to move to a safer area.
Here’s hoping she has a generous amount of home insurance to cover her losses, including a rider for jewelry and other valuables.
