More people are expected to exercise caution when renewing their car insurance policies due to mounting pressure on personal finances.  Research from compare the market suggested that the price comparison site expects more people to take a look at car insurance comparison as a result of rising costs.  The research found that a third of families have had to cut the number of trips they make to see relatives due to rising motoring expenses, primarily driven by fuel price rises.
